On the 1-year anniversary of recording this episode, we’re finally posting it. Remember the Sony hack? When Kim Jong-un did some stuff that literally and directly disrupted Stefanie’s life (…as well as some other people’s)? Well we talk about it. “The Interview.” Seth Rogen. Angelina. And Stefanie. Stef gave it up, as our insider Sony employee. So she happened to do this in 2014. So it took us a while to get this one out. We didn’t want her getting in any trouble and have been keeping it all hush hush, as you should.

Stef predicts the downfall of Amy Pascal, and utters the phrase “Heads will roll” when discussing what was once the biggest story in and out of Hollywood, and now is just… well just another episode of NOT LIVING THE DREAM. #nltd

It’s a biggie. Great for your long drive or flight home after Christmas, or any time you just miss hearing our sweet sweet voices (and those of some drunk neighbors who stop by).

Greetings, Dreamers! A recent article in the New York Times about why so many New Yorkers are moving to sunny Los Angeles served as our inspiration for this week’s episode. So does New York reign supreme? Or is Los Angeles a force to be recokened with? You probably made up your mind a long time ago but maybe our banter will have you giving up bagels for beaches or yoga for subways in no time.

Alison gets a boyfriend. Stefanie takes a selfie with Ken Marino – at his suggestion. And the two ladies pose the question, ‘What are we good at?’ before gushing over each other with accolades. These topics and more (…or probably not more) make up the latest episode of NOT LIVING THE DREAM! It’s been a loooong time since we recorded this, but my never-ending cold, lots of audio issues, and a new job got in the way of posting it. Here ya finally go, listeners. 

Where to start?! After a long hiatus, which included Alison moving to the east coast and Stefanie somehow being apart of the largest corporate hack on U.S. soil, we decided that we had to listen to our fans’ demands (we heard you loud and clear! You miss us!) and bring back Not Living the Dream.

In our first episode of 2015, we do what we do best: talk for almost an hour about nothing in particular. Okay, okay. That’s not true at all! Alison brings us up to speed on everything from accosting strangers on the mean streets of Cape Cod to how it feels to be back in The Big Apple. And Stefanie fills us in briefly (note: special Sony ep coming soon) on life after “The Interview.”
